As part of the strategic partnership between ONHYM and the Managem Group, and in accordance with the ONHYM-MANAGEM cooperation framework agreement, a seminar was organized on July 15, 2024, in Dakhla, with the presence of a multidisciplinary team from BRGM (Bureau of Geological and Mining Research - France). Their expertise provides an integrated external perspective for the development of our key projects in strategic metals necessary for the energy transition and Morocco's industrial sovereignty. The discussions focused on the current state of knowledge, the work done, and the next steps in the program for the main projects in partnership, particularly those concerning rare earths and copper. A new exploration model based on intelligent systems and machine learning was at the heart of the debates. This workshop marks an important milestone in our collaboration, reinforcing our shared commitment to ambitious and innovative goals.

Morocco's and Africa's future energy needs depend on significant long-term investment in low-carbon energy sources, with gas playing a key role. To address this national priority, Managem is establishing an industrial natural gas division and announces the acquisition of Sound Energy Morocco East Limited (SEME) following a competitive process involving international investors.

Hosted by our CEO Imad TOUMI, the event enabled our teams to dive into the Group's strategic outlook and ambitions. We looked back at 2023, a year of transition, during which Managem finalized the development of the major 2025 strategic plan projects, and presented the new strategic direction that will enable the Group to assert its position as regional leader in Africa in gold activities and in new energy transition projects.
