Earlier this week, Reminex SA, Managem's subsidiary specializing in project engineering and construction, has signed a partnership agreement with CEC (China Electronics Corporation), a Chinese engineering company.
By sharing our technology-leading know-how in engineering and project constructing , this strategic partnership represents an opportunity for us to build an industrial ecosystem and contribute to Moroccan-Chinese strategic alliance.
Thanks to the efforts and dedication of our teams, we have signed the first contract under this partnership, launching the construction of the first cobalt sulfate production plant in Morocco. A cobalt sulfate is amongst derivatives needed to manufacture batteries for electric mobility.
The launch of this major new project marks a significant milestone in the deployment of our critical metals and energy transition strategy in Morocco.
